Sign Making
Paint Markers — Great for making signs. Look better than Sharpies. Multicolor.
FUMILE Jumbo Poster Markers, 15mm — Large-tip black markers, good for bold lettering on poster board.
Laminator (10 mil) — Can laminate with 10 mil (thick) sheets, which most can't. Good for durable weather-resistant signs.
Noisemakers
5 CORE 50W Megaphone — Affordable matte-black, 50w megaphone with a rechargeable battery.
Pyle 50W Rechargeable Megaphone — One of the most reliable megaphones out there. Loud, and lasts longer than most.
Mgrolx Rechargeable Megaphone — Built-in rechargeable battery. No trigger lock, so use a rubber band if you don't want to hold it. Also sold under Uzochi and Pyle — get whatever is cheapest.
MyMealivos 35W Megaphone — Smaller. Not as loud as a 50W megaphone, but good for its size.
Megaphone (Waterproof) — Less loud and pricier than a 50W, but water resistant.
Pealess Whistles — Great pealess whistle option. Reliable in cold or wet conditions.
Bulk Whistles — Cheap bulk whistles if you need a massive pack.
Hyperwhistle — Loudest, but takes a lot of breath.
Vuvuzelas — Collapsible and loud. Classic crowd instrument.
Personal Alarms — Loud keychain alarm. Useful for emergencies and safety.
Air Raid Siren — Can be good in cities where noisemakers are allowed but megaphones aren't.
Drum — Snare drum for marches and chants. Keeps the crowd together.
Death Whistle — Not super loud, but sounds like a scream. Attention-getting.
Sidewalk Art
Sidewalk Chalk — Comes in individually wrapped packs. Lower variety of colors is helpful for finishing designs.
Dye for Fake Blood — Mix with clear soap or corn syrup and a bit of water to make fake blood.
Soap for Fake Blood — Any clear soap will work. This is one option — use whatever clear dish soap you have.
Earplugs
Disposable Earplugs (100 Pack) — Larger packs are cheaper per pair. Good for distributing at loud actions.
Reusable Earplugs (Bulk) — Not the nicest, but cheap and reusable.
Reusable Earplugs (Loop Style) — Knockoff Loops that are just as good. A little expensive to give out for free, but nice for personal use. Can find cheaper on eBay under different names.
Cough Drops
Ricola Cough Drops — Good for when activists' voices are getting tired from chanting.
Camera Gear
DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro — Excellent quality action camera. Note: footage is not encrypted, so there is some risk of footage being accessed if the device is seized. The Osmo Action 6 isn't enough of an improvement to justify the higher price for most activist use. Can sometimes be hard to find in the USA.
Magnetic Chest Mount — Attaches magnetically through a shirt or jacket. Compatible with DJI Osmo and similar action cameras.
Privacy Gear
Google Pixel — The phone to get if you want to run GrapheneOS — a hardened, more private version of Android. GrapheneOS only runs on Pixel hardware.
Webcam / Phone Camera Cover — Works great on phones and laptops. Ultra-thin slide cover — quick to open and close.
Privacy Screen Protector — Any tempered glass privacy screen protector. Which one to buy depends on your phone model — search for your specific phone. Prevents shoulder-surfing in public.
Wired Headphones — Wired headphones can't be tracked the way Bluetooth ones can. Any wired option works — no specific recommendation since availability varies.
